Nggak terasa sudah bulan Mei, perasaan baru kemarin aku mengisi KRS, hahahaha
Setelah UTS sudah kulalui dengan cukup mulus (entah bagaimana hasilnya), pasti setelah UTS akan berlanjut hari-hari di mana tugas-tugas menanti. Jadi, sebelum hal tersebut terjadi, aku mau memanfaatkan hari pertama di bulan Mei ini untuk mereview produk yang ditanyakan oleh teman-teman beauty blogger, yaitu Konjac Sponge! Yuhuuuuuuuuuu, ini dia penampakannya:
Aku tertarik membelinya karena banyak yang memberikan review bagus tentang Konjac Sponge ini. Aku adalah orang yang sangat tertarik dengan produk yang dapat membuat kulit muka lebih halus, hahahaha
Alhasil aku mencoba produk ini. Aku memilih Konjac Sponge yang water drop volcanic stone karena Konjac Sponge jenis ini cocok untuk kulit yang berminyak dan berjerawat. Waktu pertama kali membeli, aku sedang jerawatan karena ada di periode bulanan, nah makin semangatlah aku membelinya, hahahaha
Sebelum melakukan review, ada baiknya kita mengetahui apa sih sebenarnya Konjac itu?
“Amorphophallus Konjac” the Konjac potato is a perennial plant, native to Asia and sometimes known as Konnyaku. “Konjac” potatoes are cultivated for food in Japan and Korea, but wild forms grow naturally in many parts of China, Korea and Japan. Frequently growing wild at very high altitude, thus being very pure and polutant free.
The Japanese have been eating “Konjac” for over 1,500 years. It is a totally natural food source. 99% of “Konjac” is water and three percent is Glucomannan, or dietary fiber. It is also rich in minerals and very low in calories. However, our sponges should never be put in the mouth! These are simply a few facts about the plant when used as a food, for those who are curious! Buf, for over a century, the Japanese have been using the “Konjac” vegetable as a beauty treatment for their delicate skin.

Aku membeli Konjac Sponge ini Toko Mutiara Yogyakarta. Sepertinya Toko Mutiara langsung mengimport dari Korea, jadi keterangan di belakang kemasannya ditulis dalam bahasa Korea.
Konjac Sponge ini sudah dilengkapi tali sehingga bisa digantungkan dengan mudah. Pertama kali dibuka, sponge sudah dalam keadaan basah dan tercium sedikit aroma yang lembut.
Dalam keadaan kering, ukurannya menjadi lebih kecil. Aku biasa menggantungkannya di lantai 2 rumahku agar terkena angin dan kering. Takutnya, kalau selalu dalam keadaan basah malah timbul jamur. LOL
Texture Konjac Sponge ini benar-benar seperti Sponge Bob. LOL
Ketika kering, lubang-lubangnya terlihat semakin besar. Saat digunakan, sponge ini terasa sangat lembut dan empuk seperti jelly, bahkan ketika menyentuh jerawat, jerawat nggak terasa sakit.
Konjac Sponge ini bisa digunakan TANPA atupun DENGAN facial foam.
- Aku mencoba TANPA facial foam. Jerawat tidak bertambah, tapi rasanya kurang mantap kalau tanpa facial foam, LOL. Jadi, aku hanya bertahan 1 hari TANPA facial foam.
- Aku mencoba memakai Konjac Sponge SEBELUM MEMAKAI facial foam. Alhasil, entah kenapa jerawatku malah bertambah banyak! OMG!
- Aku mencoba memakai Konjac Sponge BERSAMAAN dengan facial foam. Jadi, aku memakai sponge ini untuk menghapus busa dari facial foam. Dan, voila! Jerawat perlahan-lahan jerawat berkurang dan mukaku terasa makin halus. Bahkan aku merasa make-up-ku jadi lebih menempel. Hoaaaaaa, seneng! ^^
Seharusnya sih agar sponge ini tetap higienis, setelah pemakaian bisa dimasukkan ke dalam microwive. Tapi, menurutku, merendam di air hangat sebelum pemakaian pun sudah cukup untuk membuat bakteri di dalamnya pingsan. Hahahahahaha
Overall, setelah pemakaian selama 8 hari, aku suka dengan sponge ini ^^
Kesimpulan
Kelebihan
– Lembut dan tidak membuat kulit perih
– It works well on my skin
Kekurangan
– Sedikit mahal (for me)
Harga : Rp 65.000,00 untuk 6 bulan (tergantung pemakaian dan perawatannya)
Repurchase? YES kalau ada uang :DD

Setelah mengecek di web mykonjacsponge.com , ternyata sponge ini bisa untuk 6 bulan.

Hmmm … Where did APRIL go ?
It’s easy to get caught up in your work and go into zombie mode without realizing it’s a new month. So hard to believe, isn’t it?
We’ve been working non-stop this past week on couple projects! Hopefully we can take some time to relax this weekend (and you should too!). And that is why we’re having our 1st fun CHARITY BAZAAR. (30% of our sales are going to Charity !! )

Is it really May? Someone pinch us! We cannot believe how quickly 2012 is flying by. It’s true what they say … time flies when you’re having fun.
