The idea that beauty is subjective is not new. Yet, we all yearn to be beautiful, so we seem continually subject to the latest appeal for that ideal-makeup, hair coloring, perfume, skin conditioner, eyeliner-that will allow us to attain perfection. Each of these products is part of an aesthetic DNA that, when assembled in the right combination, will achieve the desired effect; gorgeous.
Throughout the history of innovation in beauty, brands have sought to give women (mostly) the power to make themselves beautiful. These beauty pioneers (AHEM – US !) understood that beauty is timeless and yet it can change. By carefully navigating this contradiction, they have both succeeded in building brands and continually redefined what is beautiful.
Beauty skin care is nothing new to our society, considering the widespread use of cosmetic as early as in ancient Egypt. However, it was the advent of photography and the birth of film in the late 1800s that had a tremendous impact on the mass market of cosmetic. With the birth of photography and film, beauty was no longer just a moment captured in a passing gaze, but an image captured in a more permanent medium for many eyes to see.

Q: How long will the sponge last? We get asked this all the time.
A: The average is about 4 – 6 months, but that depends on use and care. Hang to dry, rinse everytime its used and DO NOT WRING it, for longer use.
