‘My Konjac Sponge’ Bamboo Charcoal

‘My Konjac Sponge’ BAMBOO CHARCOAL :

Acne (whether one spot, a few spots, or a face full) can leave your self confidence shattered and make the everyday things you used to take for granted, such as going to work or hanging out with your mates, an embarrassing and even traumatic ordeal.

Acne can cause lasting emotional damage, especially when it unfairly continues into your adult years. You may be seeing acne for the first time in your 20s or 30s and wondering why you’re now being affected.

Try our ‘My Konjac Sponge’ BAMBOO CHARCOAL’ But what’s so special about it …

Perfectly represented by its bold color, Bamboo Charcoal is the sponge that you want to use when you feel that you have many layers of dead skin to exfoliate. Layers of dead skin make your skin look dull and darker than your actual tone.

Enriched by charcoal extracted from the best bamboos in Korea, this sponge is also effective for cleansing and eliminating blackheads around the T-area (so called Trouble Area). This sponge is perfect for those who are active and spend good amount of time outside having to deal with dusts and dirts that could clog your pores if not cleansed properly.

Also … My Konjac Sponge is an advocate of going-green movement. Not only that our sponge are naturally sustainable, but they are also 100% biodegradable. Indulge your skin with the goodness of nature.

Definitely worth to try !!!

Volcanic Stone Facial Sponge Review by Rini Cesillia

Who loves facial sponge here? Raise your hand! 😀

At first, I thought facial sponge is not so important. It means I don’t really need to have it. But after I read good reviews from other bloggers, I thought I want to give it a try.

I bought it at Children’s Store at Pacific Place because it’s near from my office. I bought the Volcanic Stone type, since it’s in pink colour :3

There are facial sponge and body sponge. There are 4 types of facial sponge: moon original, volcanic stone, moon korean ocher, and bamboo charcoal.
Description from their website:

Perfectly represented by its pinkish colour, Volcanic Stone is the sponge that you want to use when you feel that you have many layers of dead skin to exfoliate. Layers of dead skin make your skin look dull and darker than your actual tone.

This pinkish sponge is naturally made of 100% pure vegetable fiber enriched with drops of volcanic stone that could biologically absorb excess oil on your skin as you scrub the dirts off the skin; perfect for teen skin. Processed without any coloring and addictive, this sponge is also suitable for those with hypersensitive skin.

About the konjac itself, it is a plant sometimes known as Konnyaku. The Japanese have been eating Konjac for over 1,500 years. 99% of Konjac is water and three percent is Glucomannan, or dietary fiber. It is also rich in minerals and very low in calories. For over a century, the Japanese have been using the “Konjac” vegetable as a beauty treatment for their delicate skin.

Besides, their factory is in Jeju Island ( I wish I can visit it in a next few years >.<). The island contains the natural World Heritage Site Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes. This means that due to its amazing volcanic rock structure and its outstanding beauty it has world recognition and protection. It’s reputed to have some of the cleanest and purest water in the world. So pure that the water is bottled and sold to drink.
See how unique it is from the description?

When I first opened the plastic, I can feel the sponge was a bit damp. Not really dry like the pic below. The sponge come with a pointy end that makes it easier to reach corner of nose or lips. 😀

After use, remember to always hang it in a well-ventilated area to let it dry. When it is completely dry like the pic above, it becomes as hard as stone ._. When you want to use it, just put it in the water again. It will back to its damp condition and elastic :3

I have tried it with or without cleanser. It’s up to you how do you want to use it. Just remember to clean your make up first before using the sponge because you can’t expect all the make-up can be removed just by using this sponge alone. 😐
So far I still like to use it after I use facial foam. I fell uncomplete if I don’t use any facial foam :p So after I clean my face with facial foam, I use the sponge. Rub it all over my face for a few minutes then it’s done. I like how it feels on my face, it’s so soft and won’t hurt my face at all. ^^ I use it every morning and night. Now it’s become one of my cleansing routine.

What I really like about using this pinkish sponge is that I can really see the difference on the corner of my nose. Usually there were so many whiteheads there and no matter how I tried to remove them, either by scrub, gommage, or whatever it is, they were still the same. But, I can see the difference after I use this sponge, the whitehead have reduced! This is a big yeay for me xD My nose looks cleaner now without those disgusting whitehead. \(^0^)/ I can see my acne scars also lessen. Maybe it really exfoliates my dead skin well, plus skin care that I use to reduce the acne scars.

So far, I really love this sponge and wanna try other variants. So when My Konjac Sponge did bazaar at Central Park Mall, I bought Bamboo Charcoal sponge and 6 wave sponge for only Rp 120.000 (they did have promotion on that time 😀 ). One sponge can last up to 6 months but replace it once it starts to break down or looks tired. 🙂

If you are interested with this sponge, make sure to check out their website , facebook or twitter.
Moon Original Rp 59.000. Korean Ocher, Volcanic Stone, and Bamboo Charcoal Rp 65.000. 6 wave facial body sponge Rp 65.000. Recently they have reached Singapore and Phillipines too, for more information just follow their twitter. 🙂

Have you tried this awesome sponge? ^^

“We aim to be the best in this business, and so thankful to be trusted by many”

At the dawn of the eighteenth century, the stage has been set for a great economic transformation. Though people’s buying habits had always been driven by personal preference and societal norms, most individuals in the  years before the eighteenth century tended to buy and use only what was necessary. But the development of new technologies in the England of the industrial Revolution led to innovations in manufacturing and production. The subsequent rise of factories and proliferation of mass-produced goods allowed consumers to choose among many options-a luxury they had never known before.

The eighteenth century marked the onset of many of the branding, marketing, and advertising techniques widely used today. But the early twentieth was a time of great societal transformation, instigated and marked by the arrival of new products, technologies, and forms of visual communication. The emergence of continuous-process manufacturing, combined with the invention of offset printing, made the creation and marketing of mass-produced goods possible, and allowed manufacturers to use packaging and graphics to speak directly to consumers, who began asking for specific brands.

‘My Konjac Sponge’ believes to be successful, we had to create brands that stressed honesty, projected a personality more than product features, and connected in a meaningful way with the cultural movements of the day. We need to no longer sought to speak to everyone; rather it targeted one definable segment of the market, creating dialogue-and a brand identity-that set ‘My Konjac Sponge’ apart from the competing beauty products of the time.

In a variety of ways, ‘My Konjac Sponge’ has reinforced the brand;s heritage while still innovation in new directions. All throughout, ‘My Konjac Sponge’ has kept us all engaged and built a loyal following-a companion through every season, skin type, mood, and hygiene.

As what we truly believe, ‘Not scared of anybody, criticism, never driven by reviews. Not scared to get panned or harsh words from the competitors.” and ‘NEVER Follows, ALWAYS Leads !!!  Impossible to ignore. High performance, quality and safe ingredients are our priority.’

We aim to be the best in this business, and so thankful to be trusted by many.
